Tasting Notes:
An intense orange aroma prepares for what is to come. Full bodied and sweet on the tongue with the orange flavour shining through, very light touches of spice appear with the high alcohol stopping the sweetness from being too cloying.
Suggested Recipe: Original Margarita
- 30ml Cointreau®
- 50ml Blanco tequila
- 20ml Fresh lime juice
- Salt and lime slice to garnish
- Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake vigorously
- Prepare a chilled margarita glass with a rim of salt (Moisten the rim with a piece of cut lime and dip/sprinkle on the salt)
- Strain the cocktail into the prepared glass and garnish with a slice of lime to finish
